Flood Sensor w/30.5 m Cable
Each AVTECH Flood Sensor with attached sensor cable is activated by liquid making contact with the attached Flood Sensor Cable anywhere along its length. Once liquid is detected the Flood Sensor triggers an alarm condition, allowing the Room Alert hardware, Room Alert Manager software and/or other monitoring application to send alerts and/or take automatic corrective action.
This is the longest cable option AVTECH offer, suited to large plant rooms, raised floors and warehouse perimeters. This is an instant 'Plug & Play' sensor via one of the switch sensor channels on the back of any compatible Room Alert monitor. Cable distance can be extended from the standard 25' (7.62 m) leader to approximately 900' (274.32 m) using standard speaker wire, twisted pair or any reliable low voltage 2-wire cable.
