Vutlan VT572
The VT572 is an indoor radar motion sensor for detecting movement in a room that should be empty — a comms room, a substation, an unmanned site. Because it is radar rather than passive infrared, it is less prone to false triggers from heat sources and airflow, which matters in a room full of warm equipment and moving air.
Key Features
- Radar Detection: fewer false alarms than PIR in warm, ventilated rooms
- Plug and Play: connects to any analog port, auto-detected
- Alerting and Automation: drive an email, SMS, beacon or relay from a detection event
- Access Correlation: pair with a VT530 door sensor to distinguish an authorised entry from movement with no door event
Technical Specifications
- Type: indoor radar motion sensor
- Connection: analog port (Plug and Play)
- Weight: 0.14 kg
Requires a Vutlan monitoring unit with a free analog port and is powered by it. Previously listed as VT572-46m; Vutlan now designate it simply VT572.
