Installation and commissioning of a modem or RS485 (Modbus) extension into a Vutlan monitoring unit, carried out by EDP Communications.

What's Included

• Physical Installation – the extension board fitted correctly into the unit's expansion slot
• Configuration – APN and SIM setup for modems, or bus parameters (baud rate, parity, stop bits, slave addressing) for RS485
• Verification – the link tested end to end and confirmed reading before hand-over

Getting RS485 right matters more than it looks: every device on a bus must share the same baud rate and parity, and a single mismatched setting leaves the whole bus silent. This covers the setup and the proving.
